Voicemail

Voicemail is like an extremely clever answering machine that you can control remotely using your mobile phone. Used properly, it becomes an integral part of your mobile phone service. When you subscribe to Voicemail, there is no monthly charge and no charge is made to you when a caller leaves you a message, the only charge is your normal call charge for collecting your messages.

Whenever you are either unable or you choose not to answer a call, Voicemail will allow the person calling you to record a message so that you can retrieve it later. Unanswered calls will be forwarded to your Voicemail (unless the phone has been set up to divert calls to another number) in the following situations:

The phone is switched off
The phone is outside the service area
You do not answer a call
You choose not to answer a call and press the call end or cancel button, (deflect)
You are busy on another call and have not set call waiting.
You are able to record your own greeting announcement to personalise your Voicemail, and you can change your greeting message remotely whenever you want to.
We strongly recommend you record a personal greeting so that people are certain whose Voicemail they have reached and then they will be more likely to leave you a message.

Once your Voicemail has been set up, your mobile phone will alert you that a message is waiting. You can then collect your messages via your mobile phone, or alternatively you are able to retrieve your messages from any fixed telephone. The Mobile plus voicemail service will store up to 30 messages of up to 3 minutes in length for up to 21 days.
